The Magic Bakery Return Policy
Once the secret is told, the trick has been sold. In other words, once you purchase a magic trick or effect the secret has been revealed to you. As with all other magic companies, you are purchasing the secret to the effect and that is part of the value of the product. If you purchase an item and decide you don't like it, it is impossible for you to actually return the secret. Remember, we sell secrets and methods here. If a trick or effect includes a prop, the prop is a bonus which assists you in performing the actual trick (as opposed to you having to construct the prop yourself) or making a specific effect happen. Magic is not returnable so make your selections carefully.
Remember that All sales are final - No exceptions!
No returns of any item except in the rare instance that an item is received defective or damaged. We personally inspect and pack each item before it leaves our warehouse. However, mistakes can and do happen from time to time. If by some rare chance you do receive a defective or damaged item from us, we will cheerfully exchange it for an identical item, provided it is returned to us intact, including the original packaging, instructions, etc. If the item is no longer available (e.g, no longer manufactured, out of print, etc), you will be given an item of equal or lesser value of your choosing.
Regarding DVD returns: Our DVDs are produced using the highest industry standards (our disc's are pressed - NOT burned) and we do NOT anticipate or expect any problems. All our DVDs use the NTSC format and are multi-region coded to play in all countries. However, in the rare event there is a problem, we will accept the return of defective DVDs only. We aknowledge defective to mean: The disc will not play or operate in a normal fashion when used with equipment which is in proper working condition and is designed to play said disc. Returns must include the entire product in good condition - including the original packaging, box, DVD disc, insert chapter sheet and collectors wooden nickel which is included in each package. Returns which do not meet the above criteria will not be credited - no exceptions!
Finally, given that we ship all merchandise (DVDs, tricks, books, etc.) postpaid by us, and the odds of receiving a damaged or defective item are extremely rare, return shipping costs are paid by the purchaser (that's you).
We don't pay to have merchandise returned back to us. Arrangements for returning defective or damaged items must be made within five business days of receiving the shipment - no exceptions. We must be notified in writing by e-mail at: sales@themagicbakery.com
